The famous "amen break" by "the winstons" cutted. Something like 136bpm.

Unprocessed snare drum sample (1 of 4) which was created during the last recordings with my band. Recorded with a dynamic microphone. I would describe the sound as a "rock snare which wants to be a funk snare".

Bassdrum hit with mallet, recorded 24bit stereo on a sony-pcmd50. One mic was on-axis and the other was off. The samples are in stereo only as to allow for more control in tone and editing.

Basic four on the floor drum loop made with caustic 3. 140 bpm, 4 bars, 44100hz 16 bit. Processed with compression on the kick and mix compression and eq on the master in ardour and ready to go. Very straight forward.

The sound of a drum changed to sound like a drone.

Quite dirty but does not mess in the mix.

I was bored and made this loop on fl studio (jumpscare warning at the end). Stems in order: kick, snare, shaker, transition, unlayered loop and the original sound that i made the unlayered loop from (some motor sound that i recorded). =========================================for anyone that might wanna recreate the unlayered loop, i made it using eq, some valhalla delay preset called magenta, gross beat plugin (chaos 4/drum loop), a plugin called "pancz" by oversampled (add punch & flavour preset), gross beat again (complex 10/drum loop) and little bit of bitcrush using fx(effector fx module). After reading about how the winstons’ drummer never got a penny in royalties for the tens of thousands of times the amen break was sampled, i created this tribute in hydrogen and audacity using a free kit. Have fun!.

70's era korg univox sr-120 drum machine driven through gap-pre73 preamp sent through joe meek c2 optical compressor sent through aphex compellor compressor, limiter and aural exiter, recorded via sony pcm-d50. I think the univox is broken because i can't get any other sounds than tom-toms and claves from it.

Made this by putting my keyboard through my guitar pedal, distorting the kick drum, then putting an echo on it. I made it to put in my horror film in media studies.

A bass drum with a strange distortion. This sound is really a bug on nitrotracker, but i added some effects to make this sound more nice, is the longer version of ''bassdrum29''.

This is tupperware (beliebecuyy with an oem stretchy rubber top cover that seals them water/air tight, so i enjoyed the tone & recorded this. Hope everyone diggs it!.

This is the hi-hat of the weirdbreak, a noise wave with high filter resonance.

This is a "recreation" of the sounds heard at the beginning of the "alice in wonderland" superbowl tv spot. I used jobro's cinematica 7 in reverse and timbre's bass drum and discordant bells. The ticking sound i made by tapping a pen. I recorded the full "ticking track" (up to :17 in the spot) but didn't have the string hits to make it sound good.

The samples of these different types of hickory drumsticks was recorded with reaper and m-audio firewire 410 sound card. All these sounds was picked-upped by akg d5 microphone.
